20 Artist Picks from 2025 and Early 2026

· 4min

Last year I put together a list of my favorite albums and EPs from 2024. Honestly I didn’t listen to too many albums in 2025. But, I did discover a ton of new artists. I thought it’d be fun to make a curated list of artists for you to check out. These are artists that maybe you haven’t heard of that I think you should hear of. Some of them are well known, but some of them are pretty underground. I hope you find some new music to listen to! As always, enjoy and stay tuned.

-Max

svn4vr

Raw emotion, beautiful vocals, choir vocal harmonies, and guitar. I found out about svn4vr through some awesome people in Jim Legxacy’s Discord server. If you haven’t listened to Jim, you should check him out too.

kamen!

Did you think of Daniel Caesar? I did too haha. I found out about kamen! when I was at someone’s house and they had him playing. I loved their vocal tone and production quality.

Dame Atlas

Man oh man, this guy is so freaking talented. I met someone who really liked R&B, so I went searching for unknown R&B artists on TikTok. I stumbled across Dame Atlas and I’m so glad I did. His lyrics are really touching, and his tone is unmatched. Call me an OG fan since I hopped on the bandwagon before 1,000 monthly listeners!

Baileyrp

I found out about Baileyrp in the depths of GuitarTok. She’s really well known for her sick grooves and loops with her pocket operator melodic samplers. Her songs deliver and give your ears something fresh and new — dreamy glitch pop.

venturing (Jane Remover)

For those who aren’t in the know, this is Jane Remover’s side project. It’s more shoegaze-y and less hyperpop and I love the consistency of her sound on her singles and the debut album. If you haven’t heard of Jane Remover, please check her out. My favorite album cover art shows her with a flaming katana. Because come on, it’s a flaming katana.

Searows

Apparently I had liked a song by Searows in 2023, but re-discovered them in 2026 through TikTok. They have amazing vocal production, specifically on the lush reverb they obtain on their vocals. They’re chamber-like vocals that make you sit there in awe. They pan fingerstyle guitar very well with reverb too.

Bella Kay

Her lyrics hit you like a literal freight train, so strap the heck in. She also has a signature vocal style where she trails off at the end of phrases, it’s pretty sweet. Her way of conveying emotions with lyrics is very impressive too.

Moors

2000s swag type beats and compressed in-your-face vocals. I really hope this guy blows up. The music is catchy, and I love the production on their songs.

Sekko

The jerk beat GOAT, and guitar riff virtuoso. I found out about them via TikTok and I’m glad I did. Layering things you would’ve never thought of together on top of Mk.gee-like guitar tones and I love the juxtaposition of the two. I love their uniqueness.

Joshua Slone

How could I not mention Joshua Slone? Everyone was anticipating this debut album, and I was too. My favorites from the album are… literally all of them. I had their album on repeat for a while and let the feels set in.

Mori

I live in the Boston area, and I found out about Mori through the Instagram algorithm knowing too much about me. I’m really happy with all the music she’s been pursuing and I love her approach to songwriting and showing off all the details of her process. She’s a hard worker and an even more talented musician. She deserves more streams.

Emelie Trahan

I’m a sucker for guitar chords and riffs with dissonance and open strings. So, the TikTok algorithm fed me Emelie’s music. To which I will now share it with you!

Flawed Mangoes

The hopecore king, Evan, a Bostonian, and an all-around cool dude. My sister and I saw him in concert and if you want to just relax and vibe, check their music out!

doggone

My guy has taken branding to another level. The weird mask persona is pretty funny. But their music displays the power of distortion and organization all in one. Get hecking ready for some emotion.

2hollis

I can’t not mention 2hollis. They’re pretty much influential at this point in terms of soundscape on par with artists like Mk.gee. But they own the hyperpop space. Also, check out Nate Sib if you get the chance.

kurtains

My man knows how to produce, and I respect it. I wouldn’t even lump him purely into hyperpop, he’s got a couple different styles in his bag too. I hope you explore what he’s got to offer.

Eli

Yeah, we like girly pop out here. I am an early bandwagoner since 2022. It’s been really cool watching her grow as an artist and musician. Their vocals are top notch.

FABRO

I don’t know a word of Spanish, but this guy is pretty much Justin Bieber. I love their acoustic songs too. I know there’s autotune there, but you need to have amazing vocals to pull off what they do. Give this homie a listen.

heylucas

I do happen to know a lot of French. heylucas is from France and produces amazing works of art. Their sampling, vocal clips, and euphoric melodies make their songs very soothing.

your warm arms
